Developed by Hans Wilsdorf in 1945, replica Rolex Air-King was designed specifically for the pilots of the British Royal Air Force, often given to them as gifts upon returning from combat. Since it made its debut, the Air-King has transformed in to the impressive reference 114234 that is seen here today. Rolex's resilient 904L stainless steel is used on the Oyster bracelet, Oysterclasp, and 34mm Oyster case to provide greater durability. The radiant blue dial pops against the contrasting steel construction and is topped with Roman and "Door Stop" hour markers, matching central sweep hands, and a silver Rolex crown emblem at the 12 hour marker.
